Welcome back!

Let me begin by saying that we had the greatest time last week in Calgary.  It was a fast day trip to visit three sweet little girls.  We cranked up the music, had girly talk, drank lots of coffee and the time flew by in the car. When we got to our little ones house we were greeted to some forest adventure, dress up and some sweet one year old cake smash sessions. 

Side note, lets just say we are over the moon with this years early spring. Every chance we have we are outside photographing.  Can not wait for more nice weather.

Lets start with Hi,

Today I am excited to show of my oldest cousins kids. You can tell from the images that these kiddos are hilarious and super fun to be around. Gavin loves them to bits and has such a great time playing with Mr K. 

We meet up in rural Sherwood Park, which i love this location because there is so much open areas that the kids can run around and truly be kids and we as parents do not have to worry. I was pretty impressed with Mom's choice of outfits for this session. It was very fitting and right on the mark. Clothing can play a very important part of any session. You want clothes that you can see yourself in or your kids in say 10 years. We do not want to date image by what latest mc hammer pant craze is going on.  Trick is remember that outfit your mother made you wear. Like that polo shirt from when you were in your teens that your mom made your wear, yah the blue one with a rugby collar.  What was she thinking. This is not what we want our kids to think when they get older.

So we meet again,

The topic of discussion for today is none other than this little man from Edmonton. If this little guy looks familiar to you, it's because we have photographed his family before many times before. I was so excited when we got a call from mom saying dad was bringing the little man to his session this time. But a little bit nervous.  LOVE LOVE when dad brings the kids in only.  Mom gets to be surprised when she comes in to order and gets to watch the highlight movie we made for them. I have never laughed so hard at a session in a long time.  Wynna ended up being picked on a bit. So worth it. The images we got were lots fun and truly show cased his personality to a tee. Check it out for yourself:

Hello Spring

We are so excited to see spring again! Living in the Edmonton area can be a bit tiresome when we hear about our neighbouring province BC and their beautiful and bright spring. But we are in full bloom now and we can not wait for the adventures that comes with this new season. So enjoy the  blossoms and  take a minute to appreciate all the beauty that the Edmonton Area can offer.
